Description

ANEYA is a wonderful manifestation of the connection between two musical soul-mates from very different art traditions. For two years the Goethe-Institut Kamerun has given space and time for this musical connection to develop and mature. In this time they arranged for Reiner Witzel, a saxophone genius from Germany, and Kareyce Fotso, a golden voice from Cameroon who has a big following around the globe, to meet regularly, to perform together on stages in Cameroon and Germany and to get to explore each other’s musical universes. The CD-production also includes some of Cameroon`s best musicians.
