Description
Lars Schurse started playing the guitar at the age of 6. He graduated from G.I.T. (Musician’s Institute/ Los Angeles) and studied jazz guitar at the hogeschool voor de kunsten Arnhem, where he received a master’s degree in 2006. Among his teachers were Scott Henderson, Alan Hinds, Steve Trovato, Mike Keneally and Carl Verheyen. Schurse’s work as a live and studio guitarist led him all across Europe. In 2009 Lars won the ‘Guitar Player Picks Contest’ by the American ‘Guitar Player Magazine’.
